Recite
At the end of each section, look up from the text and in
your own words recite an answer to your question from that section. Then
transcribe your answer. Be sure to provide examples that support your answer.
Now repeat the question. Read and recite steps for each
section of the chapter. First select a question that you would like to infer
upon on the next section. Then read the section and formulate an answer. Finally
recite the answer in your own understanding and transcribe it. The written
questions and answers will help you study in the future.
Review
After completing the chapter, review your notes. Identify
the main points by examining the most exploited idea in each section. Recite,
or transcribe, a brief summary of the assignment.
Review your notes every week to aid in the memorization of
the material. When it’s time to prepare for your tests, you’ll find you’ve
created an invaluable study guide.
