Student Success Statement
“Every time I’ve done something that doesn’t feel right, it’s ended up not being right.”
Mario Cuomo

This is an amazing quote by Mario Cuomo the 52nd governor of New York. When you feel as if what you are about or the action that is currently in progress is wrong then the consequences manifested by your choice will affect you in an incorrect manner. When you decide to not participate in an action that you know is incorrect then your consequences will be positive. Incorrect actions also affect you psychological state in where you will feel guilt and know that the action that you committed was incorrect and then therefore will manifest negative consequences that will gravely affect you.

Student Success Statement
“You have only always to do what is right. It will become easier by practice, and you enjoy in the midst of your trials the pleasure of an approving conscience.”
Robert E. Lee
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._Lee

If you commit an action that will lead to the benefit of many and is overall good in nature then you will be rewarded with immense satisfaction because you did what is right. Doing what is right will be progressively simple if you commit the correct actions more often and it will become much more simple that you would not be conflicted by a proper and by an improper choice. If you commit a proper action then you will not feel any guilt or confliction that would be felt if you committed an improper action and therefore you would be rewarded by your conscience with the satisfaction and approval of your decision. Though committing proper actions can be viewed as a responsibility becuase it sometimes is responsibility that is benefiting for you and for those around you and with practice can soon become an idea that you will always strive for.

Student Success Statement
"If you do what's right, you have no need to fear."
ANON
If you do something wrong then you will be shrouded by fear and guilt. If you do what is right on the other hand you will not be worried nor feel any guilt instead you will be serene and have no worries what so ever because you have not commited anything wtong therefore you will sustain your freedom. Those who "Choose The Wrong" are not free they are opressed by themselves they are not bestowed with freedom they are worried about the consequences for their choice, they fear their parent's disapproval, the authorities, society's judgment, and so on.

Succesful Students: 1-2

Successful Students
1-2

Successful students exhibit a combination of successful attitudes and behaviors as well as intellectual capacity. Successful students…

1. …are responsible and active. Successful students get involved in their studies, accept responsibility for their own education, and are active participants in it! Responsibility means control. It’s the difference leading and being led. Your own efforts control your grade, you earn the glory or deserve the blame, you make the choice. Active classroom participation improves grades without increasing study time. You can sit there, act bored, daydream, or sleep. Or, you can actively listen, think, question, and take notes like someone in charge of their learning experience. Either option costs one class period. However, the former method will require a large degree of additional work outside of class to achieve the same degree of learning the latter provides at one sitting. The choice is yours.

 2. …have educational goals. Successful students have legitimate goals and are motivated by what they represent in terms of career aspirations and life’s deserves.

Ask yourself these questions: What am I doing here? Why have I chosen to be sitting here now? Is there some better place I could be? What does my presence here mean to me? Answer to these questions represents your “Hot Buttons” and are, without a doubt, the most important factors in your success as a college student. If your educational goals are truly yours, not someone else’s, they will motivate a vital and positive academic attitude. If you are familiar with what these hot buttons represent and refer to them often, especially when you tire of being a good student, nothing can stop you; if you aren’t then don’t, everything can and will!

CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!
