“The Three Don’ts: Don’t whine, Don’t complain, and Don’t make excuses.”
John Wooden
This is an amazing quote by former UCLA basketball
coach John Wooden. You can never prosper if you complain about doing things
that will benefit you later on. For example, if you are complaining to your
Physical Education instructor that you do not want to run, that it’s hard, and
so on while you are not aware that by running you will improve your time on the
mile test. Those who whine, complain, and formulate excuses for what they cannot
do are blinded by doubt which can deferment their ability to prosper. These “Don’ts”
express the fundamental attributes that are essential for success.
