This is an amazing quote by former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden. Being a dedicated athlete I also believe that you can never compensate for a lost day of training. If we expect to become better at something then we should continuously indulge ourselves in that activity with the desire to improve. If you apply yourself positive results will soon manifest themselves because of your effort and every day you will improve (even though it may not seem that way.) Dedication is a large contributing factor to improvement and depends on how much is exerted. For example, if you are complaining to your Physical Education instructor that you do not want to run, that it’s hard, and so on while you are not aware that by running you will improve your time on the mile test. Those who whine, complain, and formulate excuses for what they cannot do are blinded by doubt which can deferment their ability to prosper. Everyone possesses the quality known as courage, but in certain situations many people exhibit hesitance when they know that they could change the situation for the better and exhibit a great amount of courage. Courage strongly influences many individual’s lives. Those who do not act upon courage are referred to as cowards. This quote is expressing the reality that even though someone is terrified or unsure about something the thought that ensures courage will always be a possibility in their minds. For example, a kid went to school and has to perform in a play for school and knows that this will significantly raise the grades of him and his classmates. When he arrives he is terrified of performing, but knows that his friends have ensured their grades on his performance and the still terrified kid performs a stunning and amazing show which helps his classmates and him obtain amazing grades and many label him as courageous which he is.

This quote expresses the concept of reassurance of ones decisions. You should always be sure of your decision and be able to justify your motive for any action that you are about to commit. Many have their own definition of a correct action, but should understand if others see it as correct. Many fail to recognize the beneficial and correct aspect of their motive. For example, if a boy hit another boy and is punished and when asked for his motive he tells the teacher/ caretaker that the boy took his pencil will that really justify for his violent action? I believe an action should be correct and not done for the benefit of one sole person, but should be beneficial for many.

This is an amazing quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Many people are extremely intelligent and contribute greatly to our society, but some who possess great minds do not possess great character. Character is deemed higher than intellect, but some do not believe such. Character above all is an important trait expressing both your interior and exterior qualities that are used to distinguish you from others. For example, if you have an online linked bank account and leave for work you may not suspect that an extremely intelligent individual who can contribute a great deal to benefit society, but instead is illegally accessing your bank account and transferring all of your hard earned money into his account for his own benefit and is going to use that money for improper things. Where does that place him? As a proper individual or as a malevolent individual? He is indeed malevolent despite his intelligence because character greatly exceeds the importance of intelligence when it comes to how you are distinguished in society.

When you listen and take notes you are better able to comprehend what you just learned and memorize it for later use. People derive their success form internal and external stimulus which allows them to complete a task and envision and create the growth required for success. When someone believes that they are adequate enough to complete or do something then they will be motivated to complete the task flawlessly. Suppose that your friend wanted to run the mile in under six minutes and was determined always reminding himself that there are no limits that he could not surpass and trains extensively then later when you run the mile your friend is extremely determined and runs the mile in five-minutes and forty seconds, this achievement was all due to his internal motivation and extensive training (derived from the motivation.)

To secure any chance of achievement you must focus on the objective itself at that time not in the future where you will lose the opportunity to achieve something. The reference of time is effective in portraying a sense of urgency. To succeed in something you must focus on that particular objective at that particular because in the near future you will be preoccupied with something else. Temporal adaption is required to succeed in certain situations that obligate us to do something at an undesired time, but you can either act at the correct time or wait and lose whatever chance you have of accomplishing something.

This is an amazing quote from a Roman Emperor! If something is wrong why do it? This amazing quote conveys what is correct and what is incorrect. If you commit something wrong why did you even do it in the first place? The answer is that you did not thoroughly elaborate on the possible consequences therefore making your understanding of your action meager. Once you realize that you have committed an improper action then you start to realize your mistake. If something is not true then why mention it? Many like to indulge in “Gossip,” but it is improper to even mention something that can destroy a person’s reputation and that is not accurate.

This is an amazing quote by one of the most memorable president of the United States. A decision is being formulated every second of everyday. In a moment of decision we consider many outcomes and whether our next choice will be proper or improper. Doing what is morally correct when making a decision will manifest the best possible outcome because you are not doing anything wrong. Sometimes you make a decision that you know is wrong, but you benefit from it and therefore think that it is okay to “stretch the truth”, but in reality it is wrong and later on all you will only feel guilty because you either injured your moral or others (either physically or emotionally by your improper desicion.)

This is an amazing quote that I agree. I believe thatn an individual does require company, but conpany that is good not the oppposite of it. It  is indeed better to be alone then to participate in wrong actions that both you and your so called friends will not benefit from. many youths today are pressured and persuaded into changing their appearance, attitude, and so on. Youths percieve the world differently therefore would want to percive similarly tothe one they admire. If they want to be "cool" and have exhilerting friendships and if they acquire that by participating in wrong actions and belive to be persuaded then they are wrong they allowed themselves to be indulged into the world of drugs, crime, etc. If you are not in contact with those who participate in wtrong actions than you are doing the right thing and then you could acquire acquaintances who are good and not miscreants.

This is an amazing quote by this anonymous author. Improvement is something that we all strive and aspire to achieve, but do not realize that imprvement consists of improving ourselves. We try to improve many aspects of our daily lives such as arriving to school earlier, managing your weight, reaching your push up goal and so on. Even though we want to improve ourselves sometimes we require assistence, but others take advantage of this and do not improve because they did not try at all. To improve you need to take action because improvement does not manifest itself. I try to improve everyday because I belive that no one can perfect something they will always need to improve even on the most miniscule details. I try to improve on my push ups and when I started I could only perform 5, but through effort now I can perform 32 push ups, but am I excellent at push ups? No I am not because there is always room for improvement and improvement most definetly begins with I.

I immensly agree with this magnificent quote. It is indeed impossible to even feel the slightest bit rewarded when you commit and action that is wrong. When you do something wrong you will not feel rewarded or benefited, instead you will feel guilt and dissapointment. Why do something inproper? Do people do it thinking that they can benefit from it. Those who commit inproper actions know that they are doing something wrong, but choose to proceed and do it anyway and believe that they are not under any juristiction, but they are the law is their juristiction and deep down they know that they are doing something wrong and only feel guilt and dissapointment settling down upon the morality and they will never feel rewarded because it is impossible.

I believe that this quote (published by my teacher Mr. Haymore) is an amazing quote. Many people believe that what you have makes you who you are, but it's in reverse it is what you do that makes you who you are. For example, if an individual is asked if he/she would run in the latest model of a running shoe or the model before it that is just as reliable as the new model, many will like the new model, but is the shoe the one that is running or is it the individual wearing the pair of shoes. Almost all people are financially evaluated by their luxurious belongings, but what they should be evaluated is by their tax reports and the frequency in which they pay their bills as well as their credit.

Yes this is an understandable quote by Mr. Thoreau. If you invest all of your time into doing what is right then you wil never fail in what you are striving for. When the person invests his/her time into some benefitting actions or "goodness" will always be compensated for his investment because there will always be something to do that is good. If someone invests their time in activities that require them to act or be delinquents then they will not be rewarded properly. If the investor did not apply themselves or muster much of their time into the activity then the person might feel that they are unsatisfied with their activity then they will restrain from it or elude participation from it, but those who apply themselves and do what is right will always benefit from it and will be satisfied and rewarded.

This is a magnificent quote. After you have commited a good deed then inevitably you will feel good even if it is only a slight feeling of happiness. After doing something wrong then you will feel distraught and guilt. Moral, What is Moral? Well moral is a sort of sense that humans are acquainted with that basically tells us what is right from wrong, no one is born with a sense of right or wrong, their actions are associated with their influences thus influencing their actions which will be either right or wrong.
