This is an amazing statement by Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Lies cannot harbor an individual from any danger; lies only induce more danger and chaos. The truth will always be a much more prosperous decision then lying because the truth while it cannot harbor you from any physical danger it is the most secure decision there is. For example, if you need to attend a birthday celebration, but have also accepted an invitation to another celebration and you lie to the person who arranged the celebration and inform them that you are currently feeling very ill (which is a lie because you are not feeling ill.” After doing such you decide to go to the other celebration with a sensation of guilt and doubtfulness. later that evening the person who person who arranged the celebration brings you a slice of cake from the celebration just as you are walking back from the other celebration with some associates and  you are seen by the person that you deceived and that person is now angry and disappointed. Would you rather have told her the truth and arranged a plan where you could attend both celebrations? I believe most will answer yes because the solution was too simple. You could have arranged to go to the first celebration for an hour and then relocate to the other celebration without deceiving anone.

This is an amazing statement by Claudius. Like our future our education can be manipulated by us and molded to our standards, but like future consequences we must be held accountable for our decisions. The statement above utilizes a superb figurative example conveying the student as the architect and their education as their building. For example, say a student attends all of his classes and completes all of his work while another student does not complete his work and when transported to school does not actually enter the premises. Which of these students will likely have a more promising future? Well it is obviously the one who is setting up an adequate foundation for himself within his education. Let us compare these two students to two managers; the adequate student always instructs his employees on the proper procedures if a fire ever occurs inside of the building while the inadequate student vaguely explains the procedure to his employees. If there was ever a fire then the adequate student’s employees will most likely exit the building without sustaining any mortal injuries. As said before the consequences derived from our decisions will impact many as well as yourself.

This is an amazing statement by Peter F. Drucker. Many things are viewed as correct by many, but are morally wrong. What is correct is not what is viewed as correct, but what is morally correct. For example, you are at a school board meeting and the head of the school district wants to reduce the amount of profit that is provided to our schools. For many this seems atrociously evil, but for the employees at the school district this may seem as an “acceptable” action that will ensure their sustainability. Unlike the employees, many of the citizens view this as unacceptable because this will lead to a decline in the conditions of our educational institutions. What the employees should ask themselves is if this decision is morally correct? Which it is definitely not!

This is an amazing statement by Calvin Coolidge. Persistence and determination are both important qualities that will allow success. For example, let’s say that one of your classmates is labeled as a genius; Does that ensure success? No, what if he does not complete his homework and thinks of himself superior to his peers. Will an employer hire him if he is not as approachable as the other applicants; chances are that he will not be employed for the position. Determination and diligence is what allows people to realize their ambitions not talent. Talent is only properly applied when someone who expresses the qualities above it can never ensure success because many do not apply themselves and therefore do not succeed.

This is an amazing statement by Confucius. If you were to participate in an improper action knowing that it is not the correct thing to do you are lacking courage and desire courage because it is something that is not abundant inside of you. For example courage is expressed when you do not commit any improper actions even though others would ridicule you for not following their “example”  and that you are aware of the negative consequences that the action can convey. If you are aware of the severity of an action, but proceed and commit it because you are afraid of being ridiculed then you are deficient of courage and yearn for it even if you are not aware of it.

This is an amazing statement by author of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” Robert Kiyosaki. If you decide to do something then that action will formulate an outcome/ consequence that will be your future. You can never predict the future because there are so many consequences that are all derived off of your choices today. For example, if you were to become a successful business executive you would begin to learn more about the position therefore you became interested in the career position and let’s say you just currently researched it and did it today not in the future. Our actions today (the present) determine the consequences of our future.

This is an amazing statement by esteemed Russian novelist, philosopher, playwright, and screenwriter Ayn Rand. There is never any justification for committing an improper (Evil) action. We must never attempt to justify an improper action because no matter how much effort is exerted into justifying the action it will never be deemed correct. Society is an important factor in the decision of whether an action is correct or if it is not. Would you expect the justification of an action that caused the deaths of many? No the action will never be justified since it impacted society negatively. Differentiation of right or wrong is different with every person, but the perception of an event that impacted the world will affect many profoundly.

This is an amazing quote by former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden. You can never prosper if you complain about doing things that will benefit you later on. For example, if you are complaining to your Physical Education instructor that you do not want to run, that it’s hard, and so on while you are not aware that by running you will improve your time on the mile test. Those who whine, complain, and formulate excuses for what they cannot do are blinded by doubt which can deferment their ability to prosper. These “Don’ts” express the fundamental attributes that are essential for success.

This is amazing statement by John Wayne. Everyone possesses the quality known as courage, but in certain situations many people exhibit hesitance when they know that they could change the situation for the better and exhibit a great amount of courage. Courage strongly influences many individual’s lives. Those who do not act upon courage are referred to as cowards. This quote is expressing the reality that even though someone is terrified or unsure about something the thought that ensures courage will always be a possibility in their minds. For example, a kid went to school and has to perform in a play for school and knows that this will significantly raise the grades of him and his classmates. When he arrives he is terrified of performing, but knows that his friends have ensured their grades on his performance and the still terrified kid performs a stunning and amazing show which helps his classmates and him obtain amazing grades and many label him as courageous which he is.

This is an amazing quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Many people are extremely intelligent and contribute greatly to our society, but some who possess great minds do not possess great character. Character is deemed higher than intellect, but some do not believe such. Character above all is an important trait expressing both your interior and exterior qualities that are used to distinguish you from others. For example, if you have an online linked bank account and leave for work you may not suspect that an extremely intelligent individual who can contribute a great deal to benefit society, but instead is illegally accessing your bank account and transferring all of your hard earned money into his account for his own benefit and is going to use that money for improper things. Where does that place him? As a proper individual or as a malevolent individual? He is indeed malevolent despite his intelligence because character greatly exceeds the importance of intelligence when it comes to how you are distinguished in society.

When you listen and take notes you are better able to comprehend what you just learned and memorize it for later use. Notes are crafted for the purpose of writing down what you are learning (either in a visual or auditory manner) and there are many aspects that can affect your comprehension such as legibility, abundance of important information, etc. Those who are ultimately good listeners will take the best notes and therefore many are considered diligent which will lead them to obtain and comprehend an endless amount of knowledge.

This is an amazing quote by former cosmetics surgeon Maxwell Maltz, M.D. When you are extremely determined to achieve something chances are that you will most likely achieve it. People derive their success form internal and external stimulus which allows them to complete a task and envision and create the growth required for success. When someone believes that they are adequate enough to complete or do something then they will be motivated to complete the task flawlessly. Suppose that your friend wanted to run the mile in under six minutes and was determined always reminding himself that there are no limits that he could not surpass and trains extensively then later when you run the mile your friend is extremely determined and runs the mile in five-minutes and forty seconds, this achievement was all due to his internal motivation and extensive training (derived from the motivation.)

This quote is not inferring that those who want change should physically engage in conflict, but should rather assertively propose and defend their cause. When confronting an issue you are never supposed to use any force on any obstacle that arises, but if you should take action then you should be ready to justify the motive of your actions.

This is an amazing quote by Robert Craig. To secure any chance of achievement you must focus on the objective itself at that time not in the future where you will lose the opportunity to achieve something. The reference of time is effective in portraying a sense of urgency. To succeed in something you must focus on that particular objective at that particular because in the near future you will be preoccupied with something else. Temporal adaption is required to succeed in certain situations that obligate us to do something at an undesired time, but you can either act at the correct time or wait and lose whatever chance you have of accomplishing something.

This is amazing statement by the profoundly inspirational Rosa Parks. When you commit something that is considered morally correct and that will benefit you and others you do not fear the consequences. When you commit something that is morally incorrect you are overwhelmed with shame and guilt which then manifests itself into other emotions. Rosa Parks was an African American fought for the civil rights of other African American individuals and did not feel any guilt or shame because she knew that her cause was just and she and many others will benefit from it. When you commit a morally correct action you will feel at ease, but when you commit something that is incorrect you will never be at ease.

This is an amazing quote from a Roman Emperor! If something is wrong why do it? This amazing quote conveys what is correct and what is incorrect. If you commit something wrong why did you even do it in the first place? The answer is that you did not thoroughly elaborate on the possible consequences therefore making your understanding of your action meager. Once you realize that you have committed an improper action then you start to realize your mistake. If something is not true then why mention it? Many like to indulge in “Gossip,” but it is improper to even mention something that can destroy a person’s reputation and that is not accurate.

This is an amazing quote by one of the most memorable president of the United States. A decision is being formulated every second of everyday. In a moment of decision we consider many outcomes and whether our next choice will be proper or improper. Doing what is morally correct when making a decision will manifest the best possible outcome because you are not doing anything wrong. Sometimes you make a decision that you know is wrong, but you benefit from it and therefore think that it is okay to “stretch the truth”, but in reality it is wrong and later on all you will only feel guilty because you either injured your moral or others (either physically or emotionally by your improper desicion.)

Reflection:

After sixty years an elderly man returned stolen money to a Sears located in Seattle, Washington. The man apparently walked inside the Sears and proceeded to the second floor where he then handed an envelope addressed to the manager of the store. Inside the envelope there was a hundred dollars as compensation for his crime which he explained in an envelope. The man admitted to have stolen $20-30 in the late forties’ or so. I believed that the man was extremely tormented by his action and reminisced on the action and decided to return the money with interest which is a very generous and remorseful act. A customer even exclaimed the act as “awesome,” and I can’t think of a better to classify this amazing action.

Summary:

Jenna Huff a cross country runner was competing in a race and was right beside Deb Guthmann who was in front of her by little distance, but then Deb Guthmann assumed a kneeling position and groaned in pain. Jenna Huff was perplexed at first,but then told Deb "You are going to win this race,' and proceeded to carry Deb Guthmann who with the support of Jenna slowly jogged to the finish line. Deb Guthmann arrived at the finish line in 21st place and Jenna arrived in 22nd place. Jenna was in danger of being disqualified, but was not because disqualification only applies when you asisst one of your teamates.

Reflection:

This was an amazing act of kindness that not many athletes would commit. Many athletes would take advantage of the situation and proceed to the finish line. Jenna who was not even associated with Deb assisted her while she was injured and led her to the finish line and even let her take 21st place while she was 22nd. Jenna's self-less actions have inspired many athletes and as a cross-country runner myself I admire Jenna and her act of kindness.

This is an amazing quote that I agree. I believe thatn an individual does require company, but conpany that is good not the oppposite of it. It  is indeed better to be alone then to participate in wrong actions that both you and your so called friends will not benefit from. many youths today are pressured and persuaded into changing their appearance, attitude, and so on. Youths percieve the world differently therefore would want to percive similarly tothe one they admire. If they want to be "cool" and have exhilerting friendships and if they acquire that by participating in wrong actions and belive to be persuaded then they are wrong they allowed themselves to be indulged into the world of drugs, crime, etc. If you are not in contact with those who participate in wtrong actions than you are doing the right thing and then you could acquire acquaintances who are good and not miscreants.
